  1. Catholicism. People are fascinated by this side of 
  2. his life. Did you see the Roman Catholic part of 
  3. McLuhan in his daily work?

  5. A:  In many ways McLuhan could be called an 
  6. orthodox Roman Catholic in that he did parade his 
  7. brood to mass religiously on Sunday 
  8. systematically, and often we would take a break 
  9. when I was working with him and he‚Äôd go to mass 
  10. in the middle of a weekday. So by the form of it, 
  11. you could say that he was a systematic and 
  12. devoted Roman Catholic. But he was far beyond 
  13. that in certain ways, because he was such a 
  14. scholar. He would seem to be translating one
